Following on from Part One of my Fertility Yoga Poses blog last week, I am going to take you through the final poses of the Follicular Phase (Fertility Sequence 1) cycle. The poses I will be demonstrating promote rest, healthy movement of blood out of the uterus, and emotional release and comfort.
This is the perfect time to feel your womb, connect with it and know that anything that you feeling, your womb is feeling it too. Find a connection to the self during this time, even if you feel sad your period has arrived. It’s so important for us to connect to our womb and have a strong relationship with it during this time. It is important emotionally, mentally and physically to release strong feelings, especially on conception journeys.
There are specific poses for each of the four phases of the menstrual cycle:

The following poses that follow on from the above, promote rest, healthy movement of blood out of the uterus, and emotional release and comfort.
Supta Virasana/Reclined Hero Pose:
Variation: Lean back on pillows and stay here
Hold for 3-5 minutes
Reclined Supported Butterfly / Supta Baddha Konasana:
Hold 3-10 Minutes
All Fours Circles:
Repeat 5-6 Rounds or as many as you feel you need
Karani / Legs Up The Wall:
Hold 3 – 10 Minutes
Hold for 3- 5 Minutes
Reclined Knee Circles:
Rotate 5-10 times each way
Be here for as long as you need
